We, Snappy Shopper, provide a method for you to place an order with your local convenience store. When you place an order, your contract is with that store for the purchase of the products and for the delivery service. To avoid doubt, your contract is not with Snappy Shopper for the purchase of the products or for the delivery service. Snappy Shopper is, therefore, not liable for any damages or any losses that you may incur (except as a result of Snappy Shopper’s own negligence), including without limitation in relation to defective goods or products, damages to your order, or late delivery of your order.
By ordering via Snappy Shopper, you are indicating that you understand and agree to these terms.
By placing an order through our website or app you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with the store and that you are at least 18 years old.
If you suffer allergies you agree to always check the label of purchased items.
ORDERS CONTAINING ALCOHOL, TOBACCO OR OTHER AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS
It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, or for any person to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, tobacco or other smoking products on behalf of any person who is under the age of 18.
When ordering alcohol, tobacco or other age restricted products you warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
When age restricted products are delivered / collected you may be asked to provide proof of id.
We reserve the right to refuse delivery/collection in accordance with our regulatory requirements and ethical policy in particular:
- We will not provide delivery or allow collection if you are unable to provide ID and you look under 25
- We will not provide delivery or allow collection to any person who is, or appears to be, under the influence of either alcohol or drugs
- We will not provide delivery or allow collection to any person if that person is, or appears to be, purchasing on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18
All delivery or collection times are estimates only, we do not guarantee that that the order will be delivered or ready for collection by the quoted time.
When you place an order through Snappy Shopper, we will send your order to the relevant store. On receipt of your order the store will either accept or reject your order. Although almost all orders will be accepted, there may be times where a store is unavailable to fulfil your order and the order will be rejected. This may be because items are out of stock or the stores unable to make a delivery at that time.
When an order is rejected you will receive a notification by email. Any payment made will be voided. For most banks this will show on your statement within 24 hours, how ever some banks will take up to 10 days to refund the transaction.
SUBSTITUTIONS/OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Stores will always endeavour to provide you with the products you ordered, where a product is no longer in stock stores may choose to substitute that product with an alternative. Where an alternative is cheaper than the original product you will be refunded the difference. Where an alternative is more expensive there will be no extra cost.
Any substitutions made will be highlighted on the receipt, please check your receipt on delivery / collection and confirm you are happy with the substituted items.
If you are unhappy with any of the items they can be returned to the driver and you will receive a refund for those items.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
After an order is placed with Snappy Shopper, stores are not obligated to accept amendments or cancel the order. However, most will be willing to do so as long as the order has not already left their premises. It is recommended you contact the store directly if you would like to request a cancellation or amendment to your order.
PRICE MARKED PRODUCTS/PRICING
The price of the item(s) you order will be the price on the Snappy Shopper site/app at the time you place your order or amend your order. If a new price or promotion is in place after you have placed your order for example, a multi-buy offer or price reduction which may be advertised on the packaging of goods you have ordered, these prices and promotions will not be applied to your order.
3. REFER A FRIEND
Once you have registered on the Snappy Shopper app and have completed an order (successful payment and delivery) you are automatically eligible to participate in the Snappy Shopper Refer a friend programme.
You can send your personalised link to friends, co-workers, or family members who have never ordered from Snappy Shopper app or website. You may not send the link to yourself or anyone else in your household.
It is not possible to recognise or reward a recommendation that was not made using your personalised Refer a Friend link
When you recommend a friend they will receive a “£5” welcome credit. On the completion of every friend you refer placing their first order for the value of, or exceeding the value of £15 you will receive a “£5 thank you” credit.
Referral credit can only be redeemed in participating stores.
Referral credit has no cash value, and can not be withdrawn from your Snappy Shopper account.
Credit earned by publishing your referral code online on social media or other web-sites may be removed, and we block your referral code from further use.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time or to end the programme.
4. COUPON/VOUCHER CODES
All coupon/voucher codes are applied to the value of the order being placed, or delivery fee if stated and are subject to our general terms and conditions.
The coupon/voucher code must be entered in to the Voucher Code field on the checkout page and applied for the discount to be deducted from the order.
Unless stated discounts cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied to any order. Snappy Shopper has the right to exclude certain products or categories from discounts.
Many coupons are only valid for new customers or once per household, attempting to circumvent these restrictions may result in your order being rejected.
Coupon/voucher codes can be amended or withdrawn at any time.
Snappy Shopper will run competitions on social media and our website or apps. These conditions apply to those competitions.
Competitions are open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, except employees of Snappy Shopper, their friend and family or employees of stores listed on our platform.
Some competitions are run in specific geographic areas of the UK. If you enter a competition that is in a specific area that you do not live in, we will unable to deliver the prize to you.
By entering a competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Prizes will be delivered to winners direct from our suppliers, in case those items are no longer in stock we will provide the winner with a prize of equivalent value of our choice.
6. SERVICE CHARGE
As part of the transaction you will be charged a small service charge for the use of our service. There will be no partial refunds for this service charge in the event some items are unavailable or not accepted. In the event your order is cancelled or refunded in its entirety the service charge will also be refunded.
Our terms and conditions do not exclude or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We will under no circumstances be liable to you for any loss of profit, sales or other business revenue, loss of goodwill, anticipated saving, or any other consequential loss.
Our maximum liability is the value of your order.
