Cairn O' Mohr Gooseberry & Elderflower Wine 75cl

Ron's Notes: Plump flavour loaded gooseberries from fife jiggled up with elderflowers. Mediumly sweet Gooseberries are almost exotic these days. We get ours from Fife and sometimes from Aberfeldy. Tight and ripe, we chop them up over water and squeeze the juice out, ferment that, and blend it up with elderflowers. Try our hammock test: lie on a hammock on a sunny afternoon with a glass of chilled gooseberry (it's not a real test), (don't try this in winter). Ron Gillies
