Who's Big Peat? He should probably introduce himself, but he's up to some big stuff right now, so here goes: He's a feisty character, a true marriage of Islay single malt whiskies (including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore, Port Ellen) but with a disarming sweet side. Before you get to the long, lingering finish, you might come across notes that remind you of smoking chimneys, windswept beaches, sweet tar and ash. He's made in small batches, without any colouring or chill-filtration.
