The Black Shiraz is an extreme example of this style with deep colour and aromas of blackberry and plum over toast, vanillin and spice. The palate is full flavoured and intense with rich blackberry, plum, blueberry and spicy notes. The tannins are ripe and dense giving great structure and length to the palate. Serve with slow cooked roasts with rich sauces or strong cheeses.
