Basmati is known as an aromatic rice due to the wonderful fragrance it emits whilst cooking and its delicious flavour when cooked. Basmati grains are characteristically long and slender which gives a light fluffy texture with a distinct flavour. A traditional accompaniment to curries. Also great with stir fries and other exotic dishes.
